Čachtický hrad – Abstract Castle Painting

Čachtický hrad is an original abstract acrylic painting inspired by the historic ruins and surrounding landscape of Čachtický hrad in Slovakia. The composition transforms the distinctive silhouette of the castle and the rolling landscape beneath it into a contemporary interpretation built from expressive shapes and contrasting colour fields.

Created using Art Of Meka’s signature thick-paint technique, the artwork combines deep navy and burgundy tones with warm ochre, creamy white and soft lavender. The pronounced layers of acrylic paint create a rich tactile surface, emphasizing the organic movement of the landscape and giving the historic subject a contemporary character.
